CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
The School believes firmly that for overall development of the children, they ought to be exposed to various co-curricular activities. Activities include Nature Walks and Nature Study, Tennis, Badminton, Skating, Drawing, Painting, Dance, Craft Work and Physical Training including Carate. The morning assembly session has a slot for Yoga wherein the children are taught the nuances of concentration. Children are encouraged to speak and sing in the Assembly and get over their inherent shyness. |

FOUNDER PRINCIPAL: Mrs.Vasantha Lakshmi is the Founder Principal of the School. She is an educationalist with substantial teaching experience in India and Abroad. She was the First Principal of the Jubilee Hills Public School, one of the premier educational instistutions in Hyderabad.
Mrs. Vasantha Lakshmi is a post graduate in economics from the Venkateswara University and Bed from St. Anne's College of Education, Secunderabad. She had worked as teacher in various schools like St. Antony's School Hyderabad and Mother's International School, New Delhi, where she taught economics to the +2 level. She has also worked as the Principal of Springfield School, Yousufguda. She had also taught in Canada.
She was invited to head the international academy Sheikhpet, Mehdipatnam. Mrs. Vasanthalakshmi has been closely associated with many of the eminent schools of the twin cities.
 SAMHITA INNOVATIONS: FUNDAY: Every Monday the children learn about issues like hygiene, nature, banking, first aid, buying and selling etc, through enacting and role play.
JUNIOR QUIZ: Samhita has started the unique concept of getting the children between ages 3-5 to participate in quizzes in elementary maths, language, know our country etc.
SAMHITA ASSEMBLY: The children are given an opportunity to speak out on selected topics. Assembly consists of meditation and pranayama.
NO UNIFORM FOR SCHOOL: The children are allowed self expression through their colourful clothes.
FUN FAIR: Samhita holds as an annual feature a funfair, with skill games, lots to eat, see and experience.
SAMHITA SUMMER CAMP: The much awaited annual summer event, where the children have weeks of fun filled days.
SAMHITA CHILDREN'S CLUB: This is where children can unwind, play keyboard, play on the computer, learn tennis or else simply have fun.
ADMISSIONS:
Samhita offers classes from NURSERY TO STANDARD X (Non Residential) and follows ICSE Syllabus.
Admission are open from Nursery to Class III and the procedures start in the Month of January. For early registrations, you may contact the School. Written tests are followed by interviwes of children along with their parents to acclimatise the parents to the methods and procedures of teaching, followed by Samhita.
School Timings: 9 am to 3 pm MONDAY TO FRIDAY. Nursery Classes- 9 am to 12.30 pm.
